Rudy Gobert and his new Utah Jazz teammate David Mtichell will host the Timberwolves this Friday night for another night of the NBA. The two teams have met twice this season and the Jazz have emerged victorious on both occasions. The Timberwolves will seek to take their revenge on these defeats and to obtain a victory on the ground of the Jazz. However, that will be difficult, as they arrive on the field after a disappointing loss to the New York Knicks. The morale of the visiting team will be at its lowest.

Utah Jazz: topicality and form
The Utah Jazz were a great team to follow in the tough Western Conference. With all of the players contributing massively to the team’s success, they will be looking to extend their winning streak in this game. Donovan Mitchell will return to the roster in Friday’s game. His absence was not much felt, as the team managed to score victories in these encounters. However, his presence will give the squad a boost on Friday, due to the energy he brings to the squad. His physical condition cannot be guaranteed but he will help Rudy Gobert in this game and we see them take the win at home.
Minnesota Timberwolves: News and Form
Unfortunately, the biggest news for Minnesota is their absences. The Timberwolves are deprived of D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns, their two best players, due to Covid-19. However, Minnesota have shown huge improvements since last season. The team are currently placed in ninth place in the Western Conference with a record of 16 wins in 24 matches. With Russell and Towns absent, Edwards and Beasly will have to lead Minnesota against this tough Jazz team. Edwards has been absent but could make an appearance as he has been released from Covid protocols but his physical condition is in question for this game. Malik Beasley comes on after a 20-point performance against the Knicks. He has been a key player for the team and needs to perform if the Timberwolves are to get anything positive from this game.
It’s not a big surprise, but we think the Jazz will win this meeting. With the return of Donovan Mitchell, the atmosphere in Utah will be exhilarating and the Jazz will register more points than Minnesota. Jazz victory.

The Timbs’ defense is not strong enough and we think, as we mentioned, Mitchell will want to please his fans. We believe it will be an open game and end with over 214 points scored.
