Relegated to Ligue 2 after losing play-offs against Auxerre, the Greens seem to have made smart recruitment with the signings of five French players who know Ligue 2: Briançon, Cafaro, Chambost, Giraudon and Lobry. Adjustments still need to be made but St Etienne is the favorite for a return to Ligue 1 next season (4.50) ahead of Metz, Bordeaux, Paris FC, Caen… and Dijon.
