The Collective of Citizens and Citizen Organizations (CCOC) held yesterday, at the Ambatonakanga site, a discussion session on the promotion of human capital in public policies, for inclusive and sustainable development.
A meeting which saw the participation of several actors, in particular members of civil society, representatives of the World Bank as well as some elected municipal officials. Among the challenges of human capital is the promotion of education.
“We are focusing on education within the municipality,” said the mayor of Ampitatafika during his speech. However, infrastructure and labor must also be taken into account. For him, “It is necessary to introduce legislation on human capital so that it is no longer underestimated”.
For her part, the representative of the World Bank highlighted the importance of investments as a priority, in the fields of education, health, reduction of malnutrition and the empowerment of women.
