The deputy in Querétaro for the National Action Party, Dulce Imelda Ventura Rendón, presented an appeal to the officials of parts of the LX State Legislature; addressed to the Federal Ministry of Health and the Government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to promote vaccination campaigns for minors against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The legislator highlighted that her initiative seeks to provide vaccines against COVID-19, also for girls and boys between 6 months and 5 years of age, who, she said, are not considered in the national vaccination scheme against this virus.
“Above all, newborns, who from six months of age must have a vaccination system in the case of COVID. We have had cases here in Querétaro of children who have died precisely because they have not been covered with this very important vaccine. Today we urgently want there to be a policy that covers all citizens, especially children up to 5 years old,” he argued.
Dulce Ventura affirmed that the federal government left aside the massive vaccination campaigns against COVID-19, when she said, the pandemic has not yet been eradicated.
