Lukashenko addressed the nation on Friday. The president said there should be no preconditions for a ceasefire.
Furthermore, he warned Ukraine against launching an expected counter-offensive, saying that this would make negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv impossible.

Lukashenko’s Belarus is allied with Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin said last week that he will deploy tactical nuclear weapons in the neighboring country, and Russian forces have used Belarusian territory in the invasion.
