He University Library System of the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) promotes the exchange or donation of books. For a year he has been promoting “Free books” during the Vía RecreActiva schedule.
The library stand is attended by people of all ages who 300 free books are taken home and 100 books are donated, without any requirement or formalitybut with the aim of promoting the culture of reading in the family.

From the Library System, Ana Griselda Morán Guzmán, commented that since a year ago “Libros libres” was installed in the Rambla Cataluña.
“We want promote readingis one of the activities that we do in the libraries of the university to the community, bringing reading closer, what we do here a book barterThe people who want to bring us books, but also if they don’t bring us they can take what we have for them to read,” he added.
Ana Morán commented that there are more and more people reading, especially “Free Books”, girls, boys and adolescents come looking for a book.
“What they take a lot of is literature, novels, stories, but also something that we think is wonderful is that children are our main readers, we also bring children and that is very good because reading is a habit that is acquired in the childhood”.
On Rambla Cataluña, this Sunday was the setting for the UdeG University Library System to carry out the exchange and donation of books.
In the fifth edition, a book was accompanied with fresh waters and read in the stands of the Museum of Arts.
