Some employees of a workshop for people with disabilities (WfbM) want to leave the workshop and find a job on the general labor market. You can find information and support from specially trained specialists from the Integration Specialist Service (IFD) in the area of transition from WfbM to the general labor market.
The IFD specialists accompany the entire process:
- They clarify the suitability and chances of people with disabilities to gain a foothold in the general labor market
- They take care of company internships
- They help with all aspects of the transition to the general labor market and provide support with all necessary formalities
- They provide information and advice on the use of funding, especially the LWL budget for work
- You take part in discussions with employers, colleagues and superiors
- They accompany their clients during their induction and beyond the hiring process
The IFD works closely with WfbM employees and potential employers and supports the entire process of switching to the general labor market. The aim of all support is to ensure that people with disabilities are permanently employed in the general labor market.
