Are your vacation plans made? The Quebec Tourist Office has just launched a promotional video for the summer of 2021 and it could perhaps inspire you to take a getaway to the capital.

Entitled “Take advantage of Quebec for them”, the video campaign features citizens from abroad who were to come and explore Quebec City, but whose plans had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The idea is of course to attract tourists from all over the province to the capital this summer while the borders are still closed to foreign visitors, who are normally very numerous to walk the streets of Old Quebec.
This video is part of a $ 27M plan to help revive summer tourism in the Quebec City region.
As part of this plan, visitors who book two nights or more in Quebec City between June 24 and October 11 will receive a $ 75 gift card, as long as the reservation is made at a member establishment of the Hotel Association of the Quebec City region (AHRQ).
More than 1000 activities have also been planned in the city between May and October, to animate visitors and the population.
In view of the summer holidays, Tourisme Québec has also launched an advertising campaign in recent days. Its goal is to encourage Quebecers to discover the regions of the province.
