The Elgato Thunderbolt 3 dock is currently on sale at € 193 on Amazon. Admittedly, it’s not as interesting as when it was sold (surely by mistake) 76 € on Rue du Commerce, but it’s a good price for this good product. It is usually sold between 220 and 280 €.
This Thunderbolt 3 dock, which we’ve tested, includes:
- 2 Thunderbolt 3 (including one to connect the Mac)
- 3 USB 3.0 Type-A
- 1 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1 DisplayPort 1.2 (HDMI 1.4b compatible)
- 1 audio output
- 1 audio input
It provides 85 W, enough to power any MacBook Air / Pro, except the 16 “MacBook Pro. A small Thunderbolt 3 cable is included.
Amazon is also making an interesting reduction on the JetDrive 825, an SSD intended to replace that of an old MacBook Air / Pro to increase its storage and possibly speed it up a little.
The 480 GB model is sold 158 € instead of more than 200 € usually. The 960 GB model is on sale at 251 €, or a discount greater than 100 €. They are compatible with MacBook Air 2013 to 2017 and MacBook Pro 2013 to 2015.
