Promo Install “Home Charging” Electric Vehicles, Prices Start at IDR 850,000

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Good news for people who want to install home charging electric vehicle. Because PT PLN (Persero) is spreading Super Everyday promos.

The new connection promo (PB) for charging at home is provided as an effort to accelerate the use of electric vehicles and their ecosystem infrastructure.

PLN’s Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and TJSL, Gregorius Adi Trianto said, this promo can be followed by all tariff groups of PLN customers.

Details of 1 Phase low voltage (TR) customers with a power of 7,700 VA and 3 Phase TR Customers with a power of 13,200 VA.

“Through this promo, it is hoped that people can charge their own electric vehicles at home. The cost of connecting to electricity is much more economical,” said Gregorius in a press release, Saturday (21/1/2023).

Gregorius said, through this promo, customers get a special price where a 1-phase customer with a final power option of 7,700 VA only pays Rp. 850,000 from the normal price of around Rp. 7.49 million.

Meanwhile, 3-phase customers with a final power option of 13,200 VA only pay Rp. 3.5 million from the normal price of around Rp. 14.6 million.

Customers will also get a 30 percent discount on electricity rates from 22.00 WIB – 05.00 WIB from usage home charging.

Throughout 2022, as many as 738 customers who use electric cars have enjoyed this Super Everyday Promo. To encourage more people to switch to electric vehicles, this promo is extended until 31 December 2023.

“We support the government in encouraging the use of electric vehicles, one of which is through this promo. With the promos from PLN, it is hoped that a cleaner environment and air will be realized,” said Gregory.
