Summer is back and those who want to enjoy it with a snack, a drink and perhaps a barbecue can do business at department store chain Lidl today. According to Promo hunters Belgium you can get substantial discounts, including for the summer aperitif Hugo.

– Hugo: 1 + 1 free promotion. “You now only pay 1.25 euros per bottle of the aperitif, instead of 2.49 euros,” says Gunther Devisch of Promojagers Belgium. “Elsewhere, the price can even be as much as 2.99 euros. I’ve never seen the drink so cheap before. In our group there is a lot of reaction and people tag each other a lot.”

– Chilled tapas: 2 + 1 free promotion for a whole range of snacks: salami, cheese, olives and more.

– Pineapple: -30%. “As a result, the price goes from 2.25 euros to 1.57 euros each,” says Devisch. “For comparison: at Albert Heijn you now pay 2.19 euros each.”

– bananas: -20%. “With the Lidl Plus app, the price comes to 1.03 euros per kilogram instead of 1.29 euros per kilogram. At Colruyt you now pay 1.55 euros per kilogram.”

– barbecue meat: includes 20% off marinated bacon and 25% off pork skewers (with the Lidl Plus app).

– XXL weeks: “Whoever buys large packaging gets a favorable price”, says Devisch. Some examples: XXL pizza (4 for 3.99 euros (1 pizza for free)) and Formil washing pods (12 caps for free or only 0.16 euros per wash).

– Brand Deals: including Pringles (1 + 1 free), Sunlight shower gel (1 + 1 free) and toilet blocks (1 + 1 free).

– Sales up to 50%: including on garden furniture, lamps, clothing and kitchen appliances.
