“Promising signs of life amidst fire-devastated forests as students express satisfaction with the course in auxiliary operations for conservation and improvement” – Report from Diocese of Ciudad Rodrigo

The 8 students of this Cáritas course, show us the evolution of the mountain thanks to the work carried out in the Guadapero area, the great satisfaction it is for them to see such a big change, going from being a desolate land to seeing how it is going growing life and see the green ground.

A defense line is being created around the farms that adjoin the town of about 30 meters and for this they have planted about 320 oaks with their protectors and it is planned to plant about 1300 oaks.

This training action is organized by Cáritas Diocesana de Ciudad Rodrigo and financed by the European Social Fund through the Social Economy Operational Program 2020-2023 and the Hon. City Hall of Ciudad Rodrigo.
