Can KU Leuven researchers force a breakthrough in the fight against diseases such as Alzheimer’s thanks to fish? The scientists are looking for a possible treatment for aging brains through the African Killivis, with whom we share more than 70% of our genes. In any case, the first results with those fish are promising: the researchers were able to remove 30% of the fish’s aging brain cells, which improved their brain capacity.
