A weaker version STORAC AND 2/6 it has dimensions of 200×60×60 cm and weighs 174 kg empty. After filling with electrolyte (2×150 liters), the weight reaches 585 kg. The energy density is therefore not a miracle, it reaches only 10.25 Wh/kg, but it is not as important for stationary use as, for example, with mobile electronic devices or in electric cars. The noise level is 50 dB(A) and is intended for indoor use (IP20 resistance standard). It can continuously supply or charge with a power of 2 kW, it can handle even 3 kW at its peak.
A stronger variant STORAC AC 4/10 it has dimensions of 185×120×74 cm and weighs 310 kg empty (the weight with electrolyte is not given for this new product, but it can be estimated at 995 kg). Its permanent output is 4 kW, at peak it can reach up to 5 kW. As the name suggests, it holds a total of 10 kWh of energy. The advantage of these batteries is supposed to be an almost infinite lifetime. According to the company, the vanadium electrolyte should still have an excellent 95% of its original capacity even after 20 years, which significantly outperforms even LFP batteries. Prolux has these batteries manufactured in the Czech Republic in Stříbra. The question remains the prices.
