**Job description**
GE Hydro is looking for a project manager responsible for the supply chain. You are the project representative within the supply chain organization and the supply chain representative within the project team during execution, of all sub-functions of the supply chain such as manufacturing, sourcing, sourcing, transportation and logistics. Ensure full implementation of customer contractual requirements for delivered equipment within the supply chain and beyond. Manage supply chain action progress plan to ensure on-time delivery, quality (NCR), cost and contract compliance
Your mission is as follows:
+ Ensure transfer with the ITO team to start the execution of the OTR in the best conditions (cost file, ITO engineering procurement plan, cost assumptions and associated industrial diagrams),
+ Execute work sessions with all other functions at the beginning of the project, to establish the project strategy, taking into account the strategic procurement plan and to build the PPE. As well as regular review during execution to ensure implementation as planned.
+ Interact with the Material Planner to ensure production order submission, purchase requisition creation, purchase and shipping order entry as well as day-to-day activities are well executed, to meet project plan and all the goals/objectives of the project
+ Engage with project team to regularly update key dates and ensure actions are implemented to ensure OTD (planning) and cash flow (finances).
+ Monitor project budget against costs recorded during execution (production, supplies, transportation, warehouses/storage)
+ Analyze draping issues for its scope, consolidate information for design review, and ensure root cause consistency of fringe movement.
+ Timely update and review project risks and opportunities, evaluate and decide on actions or mitigations that benefit overall project performance
+ Take responsibility for non-conformances and reporting cost overruns within your scope.
+ Support EHS commitment, promote and improve quality approach and zero tolerance for delays policy.
Trained as an engineer or equivalent, have a minimum of 8 years of supply chain project management experience
Experience required:
+ development of a plan of objectives and resources, anticipation and management of risks and opportunities
+ Establishment of operational progress review pace and mechanism to monitor issues
+ Escalate issues and help remove obstacles to progress
+ Understand and manage your budget.
Good knowledge of the supply chain
Experience implementing Lean actions or activities
Experience in industrial, international and matrix environment
