Project Manager (m/f/d)
in Frankfurt aM with 40 hours per week
If DFL Foundation We have been supporting young people in Germany for 15 years. We encourage them to develop their potential and participate in society, to grow up healthy and active, and to support young talents from over 50 sports on their way to becoming role models. Your future tasks:
You will be part of the DFL Foundation team and will be committed to ensuring that children in Germany grow up in a healthy, active manner. You will be primarily responsible for the nationwide “Bundesliga bewegt” program and will work closely with network and program partners (especially professional clubs in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga).
In detail, this means:
- You manage, organize and support the sports-oriented social program “Bundesliga bewegt”, which is currently being implemented with 20 clubs.
- You develop a coordinated program strategy, design networking opportunities and ensure that implementation partners are qualified. You keep an eye on relevant socio-political developments (such as the legal right to full-day schooling) and keep your knowledge up to date.
- You will work as part of a team and closely with the head of programs and funding management, with program partners and the scientific support team to further develop the quality of “Bundesliga bewegt” (as well as possible other projects in the field of action).
- Budget planning and controlling of the projects you are responsible for and administrative project tasks are just as much a part of your project management as the review and processing of funding applications in the field of activity.
- You inspire others to promote physical activity and the idea of social participation through sport.

- You have completed a degree (e.g. in the field of sports/social sciences, non-profit management or similar) and professional experience in a comparable position or comparable activity.
- You are good at understanding connections and thinking strategically.
- You have very good management and organizational skills, work in a structured and results-oriented manner and are confident in using common office applications.
- You bring expertise in the areas of physical activity promotion, social space orientation and healthy growing up.
- You are a strong communicator and skilled at moderating different interests.
- You are good at networking. You meet our partners and everyone involved on an equal footing.
- You identify with our vision because empowering young people is a matter close to your heart.
