According to Tom Henderson, Slightly Mad Studios is working on Project Cars 4. According to the insider, this would return to its roots.
The developer who eventually came under the EA flag through the acquisition of Codemasters, is said to be working on a successor to their simracer. This one would return to those roots, as the somewhat more arcade-like Project Cars 3 was not appreciated by everyone.
In addition to this racing game, a WRC game is also being worked on in the background, where Codemasters/EA has secured the rights from 2023 to 2027. So during that period, just like with Kylotonn Racing, we can expect a new release every year.
Incidentally, there is still no talk of a reboot of the Burnout series. Nevertheless, EA is also not really pleased with Grid, of which the last part (Legends) was also not a commercial success.
Finally, Henderson also talked about F1 2023. This would be completely next-gen and introduce F1 World.
