During the last hours of 2018, we learned that Slightly Mad Studios had started work on a certain Project Cars 3. Since then, it was radio silence.

Today, Bandai Namco and the development studio are emerging from the shadows to officially present Project CARS 3, which will be released this summer on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the first information disclosed at the time, the title was to water down its simulation aspect to become a spiritual successor to Shift, with a “simu” side. It is not yet known whether this direction has been retained, but we are already promised hundreds of cars and an avatar to personalize, and then face competition worldwide.
