The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Representative Taymour Jumblatt, issued a decision appointing Rabih Al-Atar as deputy of the party’s interior in the northern region, and Hassan Suwaid as deputy of the party’s interior in the central Bekaa region.
Rabie Al-Eter, an appellate lawyer, joined the party in 1999, was promoted to active member in 2000, and was appointed Secretary of the Interior Agency for the Northern Region in 2002.
He was also appointed representative of the Commission for Student, Youth and Sports Affairs in the North in 2002, Secretary of the Deir Ammar Branch in 2005, Secretary of Culture Affairs in the Tripoli Delegation in 2006, Deputy Commissioner of Culture in the party in 2016, and was appointed a member of the Justice and Legislation Commission in 2017.
Hassan Sweid, born in Bar Elias in 1982, holds a degree in English literature from the Lebanese University, and is a teaching professor in secondary education.
He joined the party in 2017, was promoted to active member in 2023, and was appointed an active member in the Progressive Youth Organization, Lebanese University Zahle office, 2005 – 2009.
