Abdel Hadi stressed, “the importance and necessity of implementing the rest of the steps, especially removing armed manifestations, withdrawing the armed men, and handing over the suspects, knowing that we are committed to working hard in cooperation with the Islamic and national forces in order to achieve this item in implementation of Berri’s initiative.”
He thanked “everyone who contributed to overcoming the obstacles and making this step a success, from the Lebanese authorities, led by Berri, and the Palestinian authorities. We also particularly thank the joint security force’s leadership, officers and members, for their great efforts and appreciated sacrifices in maintaining security and stability in the camp, which reflects a high national responsibility.” “.
He called on UNRWA to “take over the schools, and immediately initiate maintenance operations in them, and prepare them to accommodate our students during the current academic year.”
