During the fifth meeting of the seven that will be held, the issues of education, culture, tourism and sports were discussed, items that allow the social and intellectual development of the people of Mexico, as well as the economic growth of families dedicated to the tourism sector. .
To publicize the progress and current status of these items, as well as the challenges that are faced, the Secretaries of Education, Gerardo Monroy Serrano, and of Culture and Tourism, Ivett Tinoco García, participated in the meeting.
Public officials reported on scholarships for Mexican students, programs to prevent school dropouts, as well as the development and situation of municipalities with a tourist vocation.
In the Guadalupe Victoria Hall of the Government Palace, Governor Alfredo Del Mazo indicated that education, culture and sports are sectors that allow the youth of the entity to have better opportunities for growth and recreation.
He also stated that tourism is an industry that generates jobs and economic development in municipalities with a tourist vocation, so it is important to promote its growth and progress.
In this sense, the Governor Elect, Delfina Gómez, pointed out that education will be a fundamental axis to provide Mexican children and youth with better tools for their lives through their academic preparation. While the tourist areas of the entity will be essential to continue its development.
These meetings are intended to publicize the situation of the public administration in its different sectors, in addition to carrying out an open transition process between the work teams of the outgoing and incoming state administration.
The Secretary General of the Government, Luis Felipe Puente Espinosa, and the Secretary of Finance, Rodrigo Jarque Lira, also participated in this meeting.
