Straziņa started working on the channel “RīgaTV 24” seven years ago, but six years ago she experienced her first airing. During these years, Ieva has directed several news type programs, as well as live and entertainment format broadcasts offered by the channel.
“At the time, I had no idea that these would be the first steps in an almost decade-long relationship – constantly learning, challenging myself, inspired by all these insanely great people I work side by side with, people I had the honor to meet, filming the stories. , going live or directing, “says the face of TV.
On Friday, Strazdiņa, as usual, hosted the program “ASAP”, but at the end it announced that this was the last time on the live broadcast of the channel. Strazdiņa thanked her colleagues for the great cooperation during these years, and many of her colleagues from the curtain appeared on the air with flowers in their hands. Thus, there was a very public farewell to live TV.
In a conversation with the portal “Delfi”, Ieva says: “I like challenges, I like to move forward. After seven really great years together, it is time to start other projects.”
Strazdiņa does not reveal where she will work in the future, but gives a hint that the new job will also be related to the media environment.
