“Of the thousands of dates that have been seen in the past four years, the times someone looked too deeply into the glass can be counted on one hand,” said executive producer Jasper Geel. Candidates should try their best to make the fur. There is understanding for a glass of wine or a beer just before and during the blind date. “We understand that participants opt for an alcoholic drink, because that suppresses their nerves and makes talking a bit easier,” Jasper continues. One of the reasons that viewers do not easily see someone drowsy on the date is because there are rules about (excessive) alcohol consumption. “We don’t add more and check how the person goes home.”
