TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Direktur Beauty and Wellbeing PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR), Sandeep Kohlii decided to resign from his post. Not only Sandeep Kohli, Unilever Home Care Director Shiv Sahgal also chose to resign. Two back directors This followed the President Director of Unilever Indonesia, Ira Noviarti, who submitted a letter of resignation to the Company.
The resignations of Sandeep Kohli and Shiv Sahgal were stated in Unilever Indonesia’s letter to the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The letter contains an Information Report or Material Facts dated November 24 2023. Thus, Unilever Indonesia has been abandoned by three of its top officials in just one month.
Just like Ira, Unilever Indonesia Director and Corporate Secretary Nurdiana Darus said that Shiv Sahgal and Sandeep Kohli resigned for personal reasons.
“The resignation of Mr. Shiv Sahgal and Mr. Sandeep Kohli from their respective positions as Directors of the Company, due to personal reasons,” said Nurdiana in the Information or Material Facts Report letter dated November 24 2023. Profile Sandeep Kohli
According to Unilever’s official website, Sandeep Kohli is an Indian citizen who serves as Director of Beauty & Wellbeing at Unilever. Sandeep Kohli was appointed as Director of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk by the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 15 June 2022, effective 1 July 2022.

Sandeep holds an MBA from Mumbai’s Jamanalal Bajaj Institute of Management. He also holds an MSc. (Hons) Mathematics and BE (Hons) Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS Pilani).
Sandeep Kohli is known as a global business leader with experience in the global FMCG industry. He has strong skills expertise in developing strategy, innovation, P&L management, digital marketing, organizational design and human resource development.
His career journey at Unilever began in 1993. At the start of his career, he was trusted to serve as a Sales & Marketing Management Trainee at Hindustan Unilever (HUL), India.

Unilever Indonesia Director and Corporate Secretary Nurdiana Darus emphasized that Sandeep’s resignation was effective after being approved at the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS). Meanwhile, Unilever Indonesia will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders or EGMS on December 19 2023.
Nurdiana Darus also confirmed that Sandeep Kohli’s resignation would not have a significant impact on the company’s various activities. Including operational, legal, financial conditions or business continuity of the issuer coded as UNVR shares.
“There is no significant impact on the company’s operational activities, law, financial condition or business continuity,” said Nurdiana in the Information Report letter sent by Unilever Indonesia to the OJK.
