JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Behind the anarchic action of the Pancasila Youth Organization (PP) which ganged up on a policeman during a demonstration, the name of the General Chairman of the Pancasila Youth, Japto Soerjosoemarno, is now in the spotlight.
To note, Pemuda Pancasila beat AKBP Dermawan Karosekali during a demonstration in front of the MPR-DPR building, Jakarta, Thursday (25/11/2021).
The demonstration was the aftermath of a statement by the Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the DPR, Junimar Girsang, who asked the mass organization to be disbanded.

Responding to the anarchic action, Japto through the Head of the Pancasila Youth Legal Counseling and Defending Agency, Razman Nasution, said that his party would hand over the perpetrators of the beating.
“If we meet, the Pancasila Youth will hand it over immediately, because that is the order from the general chairman. I’m looking to find out who the perpetrator is, “said Razman Nasution, Friday (26/11/2021).
Razman explained that Japto Soerjosoemarno forbade members of Pemuda Pancasila to persecute civil or state officials. So who is Japto Soerjosoemarno?

Japto Soerjosoemarno himself is an Indonesian figure who is the son of Major General (Pun) Ir. KPH (Kanjeng Pangeran Haryo) Soetarjo Soerjosoemano and Dollu Zegeroius, who are of Dutch descent.
This 72-year-old man was born in Suratra, December 16, 1949 and grew up in a noble family.
Japto Soerjosoemarno is the younger brother of actress Kanjeng Raden Ayu Soemarini Soerjosoemarno aka Marini.
