Member of Commission V DPR Faction PDIP Herson Mayulu died of illness. Before occupying a seat in Parliament, Herson had been a regent to a member of the DPRD in the Bolaang Mongondow area, see his full profile.
Quoted from the page dpr.go.id Herson spent his education in the Gorontalo area. His last educational background was S1 from the Open University in 1997.
Herson started his career as a civil servant at the Bolaang Mongondow Regency Government in 1987-22004. Then he continued his career as a member of the DPRD Bolaang Mongondow in 2004-2009.
Then he was elected Regent of Bolaang Mongondow from 2010-2015. Then continued the second period, 2016. However, his career as a Regent was stopped in 2018 because he ran as a legislative candidate. In 2019 he was elected to the DPR RI and occupied the AKD in Commission V.
Judging from his political footprint, Herson was once a Golkar cadre. He served as deputy chairman of the DPD Bolaang Mongondow in 2005-2009.
Herson then moved to PDIP, and was the Chair of the DPC in South Bolaang Mongondow in 2010-2019.
Herson died on Sunday morning. The news of Herson Mayulu’s death was confirmed by PDIP DPP chairman Djarot Saiful Hidayat. Djarot said Herson was reported to have died this morning. Djarot said Herson Mayulu died due to illness.
“It’s true (died). Because of illness,” said Djarot to detikcom, Sunday (17/4/2022).
The chairman of Commission V of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Lasarus, also gave a similar confirmation. Lasarus said Herson Mayulu passed away at 09.15 WIB at RSUPN dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo, Jakarta.
“It’s true (died), this morning at 09.15 WIB at the RSCM,” said Lasarus.
