The new, developed and electrically adjustable BMW M Sport Seats come with Merino fine-grain leather trim with air vents. The latest design on this seat also gives a sporty impression through BMW M color elements and single-tone leather.

In addition, the car is also equipped with the M Carbon interior package which includes not only the interior trim and central console, but is also refined to applications on the steering wheel and paddle shift.

The control system and infotainment display on this car are equipped with BMW M Drive Professional, which is specially designed for circuit driving. This includes BMW M Traction Control with the driver’s personal preferences and needs.

Other elements of the BMW M Drive Professional are the BMW M Drift Analyser, which records and assesses driving statistics and the BMW M Laptimer, which records lap times and other information generated during on-circuit driving.

The M Drive Professional package also features the new M Traction Control function, which can be accessed in TRACK mode. The iDrive menu for this system displays the 10 stages of wheel slip that the driver wants.

The new BMW M4 Coupe Competition Sedan features BMW M light-alloy forged wheels, Double-spoke style 826 M Bi-colour Jet Black burnished with Translucent Shadow, with tires measuring 19×9 inches at the front and 20×10 inches at the rear. This car uses tires with a size of 275/35 R19 at the front and 285/30 R20 at the rear.

The engine that powers the sports cars is claimed to combine the high-revving characteristics of the BMW M with the latest BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology.

Two turbochargers with an Indirect Charge air-cooling cooling system, and a direct-injection system that works with a maximum pressure of 350 bar are claimed to help produce instant power and be ready for high revs without interruption.

The engine that powers the BMW M4 Coupe Competition has a peak torque of 650 Nm from 2,750 to 5,500 rpm. The power generated reaches 510 hp at 6,250 rpm with a red-line at 7,200 rpm.

These engine characteristics provide a very impressive driving experience. The new BMW M4 Coupe Competition takes 3.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph and from 0 to 200 kph in just 12.5 seconds. The exhaust system is equipped with electronic-flaps to change the sound.

The cooling system ensures optimal temperatures persist at all times for all engine components for everyday driving over short distances in the city and on the race track. The cooling module is connected to two high-temperature radiators, a second oil-cooler on the front apron, and a transmission-cooler.

The oil-sump has two separate chambers and an integrated suction line. This ensures a reliable supply of oil at all times, especially during extreme lateral and longitudinal accelerations.

Both vehicles transmit power through an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission with Drivelogic, which enables fully automatic gears and manual shifts with BMW M-specific levers in the center console or paddle shifts on the steering wheel.

The selection of gearshift characteristics is controlled using Drivelogic buttons integrated into the shift lever. Drivers can access three very different settings in automatic and manual modes.
