The professionals of the European Hospital are mobilizing and donating blood on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The goal? Obtain at least 60 donations to save 180 lives!
This solidarity action is organized in partnership with theFrench Blood Establishment.

Every day, 10,000 blood donations are needed in France and 1,000 in the PACA – Corsica region to meet the needs of patients and thus treat more than a million people each year.
The French Blood Establishment (EFS) draws up an alarming observation: Blood product stocks are constantly decreasing and no blood group is spared!
Irreplaceable and vital, they are used in emergency situations and for chronic needs (blood diseases, cancers, hemorrhages, childbirth, emergencies, etc.). There is no treatment or synthetic drug that can replace human blood.This voluntary and benevolent act is therefore irreplaceable.
Every donation counts and is precious: 1 blood donation saves 3 lives since a bag includes three components (blood, plasma and platelets), transfused separately.
