In the presence of two former prime ministers, Messrs. Antonis Samaras and Costas Karamanlis, the awarding ceremony of the Sustainable, Innovative and Responsible Entrepreneurship awards of the Athens Chamber of Commerce took place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
Also present at the event were the president of PaSoK Nikos Androulakis, the president of the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group Nikos Pappas, the president of Plevsis Eleftherias Zoe Konstantopoulou, the president of NEAR Alexis Haritsis, representatives of all the parties while the government was represented by the Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakos.
Opening the event, the president of the EEA, Mr. Yiannis Hatzitheodosiou, congratulated Nikos Androulakis on his re-election as the leader of the PASoK, while referring to the presence of the two former prime ministers, he noted that with their public interventions, they have demonstrated their practical interest in the course of small and medium entrepreneurship .
The two former prime ministers showed by their attitude that they will continue to coordinate their movements – after their joint presence at the presentation of Manolis Kottaki’s book “The Karamanlis Secret Files” in July, and their joint absence from the celebration of 50th anniversary since the foundation of ND, also coincided with the awards of the Professional Chamber.
However, they did not get the floor, as they were limited to the awards: Mr. Kostas Karamanlis presented the award for the best family business to the silver and gold company “Aphrodite” while Antonis Samaras presented the award to Olympiakos for winning the Conference League by the men’s football team but also the conquest of the Youth League by the youth team.
