I’ve stopped being surprised. Such appointments are a series of outrages. This means that this is exactly what the problem of national culture is worth. Don’t expect anything at all to happen at any level – be it a museum, a community center or the ever-mentioned theatres. There is no chance of anything actually happening except misery. Apparently, this misery is running in an algorithm and everyone is watching it in complete peace. Zero public opinion from anyone.
A commission was appointed to lay out the future Louvre, as that building was called. This is very strange, because to this day there is no developed concept that says what this museum is about, but there is a commission to arrange it. Chaos is complete. No one explains to us on what principle this commission was arranged by the minister and how this decision was made. What kind of merits do the people who have to arrange the Bulgarian Louvre without knowing how to have at their disposal.
The story with the Bulgarian Louvre is also dramatic in financial terms. It all revolves around the money that is poured in there. This time the completion of this madness will mess directly with the national budget, end of European sponsorship. Everything will come from our pockets.
Lately, I’ve been wondering if I should start being ashamed of being Bulgarian. The lack of common sense in current politicians is total. I stop breathing when I think about what is happening right now.
I don’t see any corrections in the Reform Bloc or the other parties participating in this government. I wonder where the famous ABV is, which supports the government. Who will be the next nationalists or censors to support him. It really is an outrage. It is better to have new elections even if it is a drama.
I hope sanity will prevail after all. This happens very slowly among a large part of the population, but it will make sense. I cannot understand why people are elected who are criminals, who have a dubious past, are placed in various leadership positions, including the most senior positions in the state are occupied by people who not only have a shameful past, but are also infinitely incompetent. There are people who will introduce us abroad with their own faces and their unfortunate grammar. There are people who make me ashamed of them.
