“I voted for the good things to come in Sofia and probably in Bulgaria,” he said. “There is a big hidden picture of how the Bulgarians will react. In the last week, many political, civil and all kinds of attitudes and moods have been inflamed,” added Prof. Mihail Mirchev.
When asked who is his biggest opponent for the post of mayor, the BSP candidate answered that it is Yordanka Fandakova.
He indicated that in case he fails to win the local elections, he will move on. “I have at least two or three professions, I feel very good in them”, Prof. Mirchev explained.
When asked what the first thing he would do if he won the election, he explained that he would revise at least 15-20 large contracts, each of them worth several tens of millions, without guarantees for the low quality with which they work. Secondly, it should be seen with what capacity of experts the municipality itself works. Many things need to be done,” he added.
