Mass vaccinations may resume by the end of the new week, as another 56,000 Pfizer / Bayontech and Moderna vaccines are expected. That’s what he said before BNR Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev, Director of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and a member of the National Operational Headquarters for Combating Coronavirus.
He stressed that all three vaccines used in our country for immunization against coronavirus have no more side effects than those that have been given to children in our country for years.
“We are not significantly harmed in the distribution of vaccines in the European Union … Negotiations are underway at a high political level to copy the impossibility of what companies have been paid for. “Our government has the right to talk to other vaccine manufacturers registered in the EU to find a way to compensate for what someone has not done as a commercial obligation.”
In the program “Week 150” Prof. Kantardzhiev clarified that a written opinion of the European regulatory body on the quality of the vaccine of “AstraZeneca” is awaited in order to resume the mass immunization in our country.
“The quality and side effects of this vaccine were slightly overexposed … The woman in Plovdiv was not vaccinated with the batch, which European countries stopped. This woman turned out to have many concomitant diseases and in poor general condition. We are waiting for the autopsy data from the autopsy. The probability of death caused by the vaccine is small.
Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev pointed out that for this one year “we have already built the potential, the opportunity to discover new mutations that determine the mosaic of the disease”:

The level of distribution of the British genetic line varies in different areas of the country. It is most noticeable in Kyustendil, Pleven and Blagoevgrad. Prof. Kantardzhiev reminded of the stronger contagiousness of this variant of the coronavirus.
