“Bulgaria is not very complicated to manage. A mediocre company is not complicated to manage.”

This was said in an interview with BNR by prof. Ivo Hristov, sociologist, lawyer and international analyst.

What was said by the head of state Rumen Radev about the PP and political quackery, prof. Hristov reads it as “long-accumulated dissatisfaction and disappointment, anger at times”, which have found verbal expression. In his words it is “another political bubble burst” in the years from 2000 to today.

“These balloons are popping at an ever increasing rate. The balloons started popping more often. Their shelf life is getting shorter, the quality is getting lower.”

The authors of the projects are “a combination of the Bulgarian backstage and the external factor” – in what proportions, is a matter for specific conversation, the sociologist added. According to him, the PP project was “sewn together with white thread, very awkwardly, by unfortunate actors“, but it fulfilled its main tasks – to sever relations with Russia, Macedonia and “the final write-off of Bulgarian energy.”

“And in this sense it is successful, which guarantees its political reproduction in the medium term”.

On the first two points things are completely clear, and on the third we still braked before the precipicenoted Ivo Hristov.

In Bulgaria never in historical perspective has we seen a culture of active and persistent resistance from below, which imposes decisions on the sales force, Hristov also stressed. He thinks there is silent resistance, but if X-day comes, our society will rather not be ready to resist.

The rejection of Schengen, according to Prof. Hristov, is “black geopolitical sign“, which shows how far Europe will be in the medium term – “where the Habsburg borders were”.

“We in Europe are tied up in a towel, anyway. She there is a need for an intermediate and peripheral territory – something between “Mordor” and “the forces of light” and this function is performed by Bulgaria and Romania.”

Ukraine is a long-term project, prepared a long time ago, not since 2014, Prof. Ivo Hristov emphasized in his analysis.

“Bulgaria and Romania are in the military strategic umbrella of NATO, of the United States. They are in a dangerous zone of the deepening of the conflict”, he underlined and predicted a major escalation of the conflict with the freezing of land in Ukraine.

The preparation of the mobilized in Russia ends and their infiltration in the western direction begins. When such a mass of people are set in motion, the question is how far they will stopHe added.

Russia is slowly “entering the regime of a military camp, to which it is historically accustomed”, and “if they enter a military regime, everything is possible”, commented Prof. Hristov in the program “Politically WRONG” .

Beyond the ‘creepy pseudo-elites in Bulgaria’, but they didn’t carry guns”the factors on which the actual decision-making process depends, take a cautious stance and try to minimize the damage“, he thinks.

On the Ukrainian front, sooner or later, the smoky flesh of Eastern Europe will be thrown“, Hristov is a pessimist.

He expressed the position that a referendum on the euro is practically impossible and “this is a geopolitical decision that has already been taken” not by us.

The EU is entering an increasingly serious crisis and must redistribute part of the payments. Bulgaria’s financial potential is poor, but Europe is entering a long and systemic crisis and “the pitiful Bulgarian lev, converted into euros, is also useful“, reasoned the analyst.

“Things are irreversible and they are already moving.”

The political forces play a “special tango”: in front of the public they all say they want to form a government, but the truth is that they do”.if any fuse can take the responsibilities of the situation in the harshest winter months”, in addition to shocks in terms of foreign policy, Prof. Ivo Hristov described the political situation.

He suggested that they are rather preparing in the medium-term political horizon – local elections, which “guarantee to dig the ground”.

As for the coup attempt in Germany, Prof. Hristov said there is tension between the pro-Atlantic elites of Brussels and the old continental aristocratic eliteswho want a more independent behavior of Europe.

“This process is going more and more seriously. Germany is the key territory. That sore spot is pressed there so that all others can be felt.”
