Prof. Hristo Mermerski passed away. The sad news was announced by his son Yonko Mermerski on Facebook.
Prof. Mermerski was born on July 24, 1934 in the village of Botevo, Vrachansko. He graduated from the specialty “Biotechnology” at the Agricultural Academy. He is defending his doctorate in Moscow. Subsequently, he specialized in England, he also did an internship at the College of Mechanics in Illinois, USA.
He was the president of the agricultural academy and deputy minister of agriculture.
He is best known for his books on healing and healthy eating, folk medicine and natural medicine, an area in which he showed an early interest, but without being a medical doctor.
