The former director of “Pirogov” Prof. Asen Baltov was admitted urgently to the emergency hospital.
He is under intensive surveillance. He suffered a severe hypertensive crisis due to prolonged stress in recent days.
Earlier this evening, Prof. Baltov felt bad, Nova TV reported.
His serious condition may be due to the enormous stress of his change as director of Pirogov.
His condition has already stabilized.
Yesterday was Baltov’s last working day as director of the hospital.
In “Pirogov” inspections and accusations of abuse began. A few days ago, the management of the hospital was changed by the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov without notifying Prof. Baltov. For a week now, the medics from “Pirogov” have been protesting in defense of their director.
“I am proud that we have achieved so much in such a short time,” he wrote in farewell to his colleagues.
