After several years of development and a number of prototype demonstrations, we will finally see the official introduction of the second electric hypersport from Croatia tomorrow.

The carmaker Rimac introduced the concept of electric hypersport with the designation C_Two already during the Geneva Motor Show in 2018, but even then it announced that we would wait for a while for the production version. In recent years, the carmaker has shown several prototypes, but we will not see the official premiere of the production car until tomorrow from 13:00 through an online presentation.

The carmaker announced the premiere with a short video, in which we can see the graphically modified silhouette of the car. In the commentary below the video, the carmaker states that the car will offer even more extreme performance, a new official name, absorbing functions, remarkable technologies and exceptional technology in its final form.
The first mention of the new name appeared in 2019, when the carmaker was preparing for the Geneva Motor Show 2020. It was here that the production Rimac C_Two was to have its official premiere, which, however, did not take place due to the emerging pandemic. According to various rumors, however, the carmaker was not yet completely sure of the new name at the time, so perhaps the management has already changed their minds.

The production version of the C_Two concept will certainly offer a number of surprises, but for the sake of interest, let us recall at least the parameters presented in 2018. At that time, the manufacturer was talking about 1,408 kW, 2300 Nm of torque, acceleration from 0 to 96 km / h in about 1.85. seconds and a maximum speed of 412 km / h. All this with an estimated range of up to 650 km according to the NEDC standard.
Expectations are therefore high, but some interested parties did not even wait for the premiere and ordered straight away. At the beginning of the year, the carmaker boasted that the first production year was already sold out.
