A recent report revealed that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in limited numbers from the official launch, as the reason for this is due to production problems facing the Apple supplier, “LG Display”.
According to the Indian GSM website, expectations indicate that LG Display is facing problems in manufacturing Pro versions screens, due to the adoption of a new manufacturing technology in the upcoming Pro versions screen.
And the leaks show that the distinctive design with thin frames in the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro versions made it difficult to produce screens, which is the same problem that Apple faced in producing some of the company’s versions of the Apple Watch.
And the leaks indicate that LG’s production of screens for the iPhone 15 Pro Max did not succeed in obtaining Apple’s approval in quality tests, especially when integrating the screen into the metal frame.
The report confirmed that Apple is currently working on adding modifications to screens supplied by LG to obtain approval to start production, and Apple also has screens provided by Samsung that are equipped for the process of assembling Pro versions.
