Production on Apple TV+ Drama Series, Silo, Put on Indefinite Hold Amid Hollywood Strikes

Production on the second season of Apple TV+’s hit drama series, Silo, has been put on hold indefinitely. The series is the latest in the series to be affected by the ongoing strikes in Hollywood, and accordingly Deadline it was expected that the series would take a one-week production break while the scenery was replaced, but now Apple wants to extend the break indefinitely.

The series, currently filming at Hoddesdon Studios in Hertfordshire, UK, stars Rebecca Ferguson as an engineer-turned-sheriff who navigates life in a Silo that houses and protects humanity from an apocalyptic and dystopian future, while she uncovers secrets that promise to shake Silo to its foundations.

Speaking of the foundation, one of Apple’s other major series, Foundation, is also at risk of being affected by the strikes. Deadline also reports that season 3 of the series may stop production midway through filming.
