Production of mixtures of forage grasses at different sowing densities and levels of nitrogen fertilization in Juli

Summary:

The research study was carried out in the town of Caspa, Juli District, Chucuito Province, Puno Department, located 79 km from the city of Puno at an altitude of 3812 masl The study was carried out with the objective of determining the effect of Sowing and fertilization densities in plant height, number of leaves, yield of green matter and dry matter of four forage mixtures during cultivation and regrowth at 30 days. For this purpose, wanka grass, a forage mix of annual grass (Lolium multiflorum), biannual or semi-perennial grass (Lolium boucheanum and festulolium semi-perenne) and perennial grasses (festulolium perenne and Dactylis glomerata) were cultivated with different amounts for a given mixture; with three planting densities: 25 Kg / ha (D1), 30 Kg / ha (D2) and 35 Kg / ha (D3); and three doses of fertilization with urea after cutting: 0 Kg / ha (F1), 50 Kg / ha (F2) and 100 kg / ha (F3). For the information analysis, the completely randomized block design was used. From the results obtained, it is concluded that M3 registers the highest height of 30.89 cm and 4.52 leaves, compared to M4 with 28.28 cm and 4.52 leaves, followed by -M2 with 27.62 cm and 4.33 leaves, finally M1 26.31 cm and 4.33 leaves. The yield of green matter was 8 510.63 kg / ha at a planting density D1, 8 230.78 kg / ha at a D2, and 7 862.71 at a D3; 8 811.44 kg / ha with F2 fertilization, 8 556.34 kg / ha with F1, and 7 236.34 kg / ha with F3. The dry matter yield was 2 434.04 kg / ha at a sowing density D1; 2 354.00 kg / ha to a D2, and 2 232.04 kg / ha to a D3. The vegetative regrowth after cutting was M2 with 16.83 cm in height; the M3 with 15.46 cm; the M1 with 12.87 and the M4 11.57 cm.
