Production and processing of cassava: A unit in the making in Noun

Although generated mostly by small producers, Cameroonian cassava represents about 1.6% of world production. In 2020, the extent of cassava cultivation was nearly 329,371 hectares. The average yield was 14.75 tons per hectare. Countries of the same level in Asia are at more than 20 tonnes per hectare.
