In an interview, producer Hiram Garcia talks about the upcoming Netflix action film “Red Notice” and raves about its stars.
Deadpool meets Wonder Woman and Black Adam, if you will: Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson in one movie. Ten years ago, this message would hardly have made the same impression and made people sit up and take notice as it does today. Gadot was still at the very beginning of her career, Johnson was more likely to be seen in films in the medium budget range and Reynolds suffered a huge box office flop with “Green Lantern”. Today, however, they are among the greatest stars on the planet. All three in one film? It can only be a hit!
That’s what those in charge at Netflix thought too. After all, they put 160 million US dollars into “Red Notice”, and rumor has it that it would even be 200 million US dollars, which would put the film on a par with “The Gray Man” by the “Avengers: Endgame” directors. Either way, “Red Notice” will be the absolute Netflix highlight in 2021, apart from “The Witcher” Season 2.

Producer Hiram Garcia can’t wait for the film to finally be released on Netflix. In an interview with Collider he talks about the stars and their fantastic screen chemistry:
“’Red Notice’ is such a fun movie! It’s the greatest movie Netflix has ever made and they have been incredible partners making sure we got everything we needed to finish the movie amid a pandemic. Despite all the challenges, we are happy with how ‘Red Notice’ turned out. These three actors are amazing together. Gal [Gadot], Ryan [Reynolds] and DJ (Dwayne Johnson, editor’s note) have such breathtaking chemistry and look fantastic together. You just can’t get enough of them. “
According to Garcia, the film has the same charisma as the adventure films of yesteryear and offers viewers the opportunity to escape reality for a short time – especially now.
