Debuted last week No Time to Die with great success in Dutch cinemas. A lot of new faces were presented in the latest Bond film, including the 00 of actress Lashana Lynch and Paloma from actress Ana de Armas. Online there are rumors that they could get a spin-off.
In conversation with Fandango, producer Barbara Broccoli responded to the rumors. She said there are currently no plans to develop spin-offs in the film series, but…
Not now… But who knows
“The success of these films is central,” explained Broccoli. “We haven’t spin-off in the past and I don’t think we have any plans to do so in the future. But who knows.”
The choice to make a spin-off about Lynch’s character Nomi wouldn’t even be that crazy, as the call for a female Bond hangs in the air. On the other hand, it is precisely the charm of the James Bond films that there is no other protagonist than the one and only 007.
