From today (August 1st) to September 1st, producer organizations in the “Fruits and vegetables” sector can submit applications for financing of new operational programs under the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2023-2027. The implementation of the new operational programs will start from January 1, 2025.
Organizations of producers in the sector, as well as their associations, which are recognized by the Minister of Agriculture and Food, have the opportunity to apply. It is necessary that the operational programs have a duration of 3 to 5 years and are aimed at achieving a certain minimum number of objectives, as well as have an operational fund.
For the application, organizations must be registered in the Electronic Services System (ESS).

The instructions for submitting applications to the SEU by means of a qualified electronic signature (KEP} are also published on the site.
Approved operational programs starting implementation from 1 January 2024 must also submit an application for annual approval in the period from 1 August to 1 September 2024.
