PROCREAR neighborhood: out of 319 houses drawn, 179 will be delivered

DETERIORATION. The passage of time generates problems in the infrastructure that mean more expenses for the State.

Last Friday, a lottery was held for the location of the families that finally managed to meet the financial and credit requirements of the Mortgage Bank in the urban development of Itaembé Guazú.

There it was learned that, on the call made in December for 319 homes with two bedrooms and one bathroom, there were 179 applicants to sign their mortgage loan with a maximum term of 30 years.

Thus, there will continue to be dozens of abandoned houses, waiting to find at some point a family that owns it to avoid deterioration over the years that have been completed and uninhabited. Something incomprehensible for a province where the housing deficit is enormous.

Just as anticipated FIRST EDITION On January 31, many of those interested in fulfilling the dream of their own home, were “getting off” the call despite being drawn. The price of these two-bedroom houses were valued at 5.5 million pesos with fees that exceeded 20 thousand pesos.

The positive data of this last call was the interest rate called Home, of 3.5% adjustable by coefficient of salary variation.

After the year of the pandemic, many of the applicants to sign the mortgage in order to avoid renting found themselves in debt, without work or with reduced income. Despite being a state program, the banking requirements were inflexible for those enrolled and drawn.

To such an extent that many began to receive advance payment notices of more than half a million pesos, to later receive the rest of the loan. There are hardly many families or singles with this ability to save. There were no responses to this problem and, upon reaching the location draw, it did not reach 60% of those drawn on January 6 who managed to feel closer to having access to their own home.

Others, in turn, could not complete data and documentation through the officially enabled website. In the group created on Facebook “Procrear Misiones”, there were interested parties who revealed even the sending of document letters to record the problems they had to go through.

There are posts until last March 4 of some who were left with the desire to fulfill the requirements after being raffled.

A delayed urbanization

In 2013, the construction of 717 two- and three-bedroom homes (duplexes) of the PROCREAR Bicentenario program was confirmed.

Over the years, the completion of the homes suffered delays. But it was achieved when such a task was assigned to a group of four missionary companies. These delays translated into long waits for those who hoped to obtain one of Itaembé Guazú’s houses.

With macrismo, very few agreed to sign the mortgage through the UVA system, whose installments increased sharply. Now, 40% of those drawn were left on the road to their own roof for not meeting the requirements of the State-controlled Mortgage Bank.

Thus, year after year, dozens of housing units remain in abandonment, with the consequent postponement of the objective: to urbanize the PROCREAR of Itaembé Guazú.
