At around 9:30 am today, 30 minutes before the public mourning began, President Yoon Seok-yeol and his wife visited the common incense burner in Seoul City Hall Square.
About 20 assistants from the presidential office followed, including Chief of Staff Kim Dae-gi.
After placing a wreath at the common incense burner, President Yoon, with a firm expression, silently commemorated the victims for about 10 seconds.
Later, he once again expressed his regret by ordering him to “establish a crowd accident prevention system that can be applied to events without an organizer.”

“At the age of a flower, many young people have been unable to fulfill their dreams and have been struck by a tragedy,” she said.
The ruling and opposition parties, which have declared an end to political wars during the mourning period, have agreed to postpone the presidential office audit until next week to handle the incident smoothly.
However, the time difference in the visualization of this disaster was clear.
The People’s Power leadership, which paid tribute to the incense burner in Seoul Plaza, stressed the social safety net, saying, “This is not a moment of questioning, but a moment of remembrance.”
