Then Ayyappan will be put in a yoga sleep after putting him in yoga sleep with a yoga stick and rudraksha mala. Melashanti comes down on the 18th step and gives the key to the temple and money to the royal representative. They will be returned to the Supreme Lord with instructions to perform the Pujadi Karmas for the next year. After completing the ceremonies, the royal representative will return to the panthalam with Thiruvabharana. This will conclude the Mandala-Makaravilak festival. Due to the impurity following the death of a courtier, the royal representative did not accompany the Thiruvabharan procession from the panthalam. Sabarimala is reached only after the impurity is removed.
