LEEUWARDEN – In Leeuwarden, the appeal against Hélène J., who is suspected of having killed her daughter Sharleyne in 2015, starts on Monday. The court in Assen acquitted the 41-year-old J. more than two years ago. The Public Prosecution Service, which had demanded ten years in prison, appealed against that decision.
