According to media reports, the fight Oleksandr Usyk – Tyson Fury had every chance to take place in Saudi Arabia, but the Briton failed to agree on a fee.
When holding a fight in Saudi Arabia, each boxer himself agrees with the organizers on the amount, and if Usyk managed to come to an agreement, then Fury’s conditions were not accepted.
The second option is a fight at Wembley, but here Fury is not ready to distribute the fee 50 to 50. The Briton is sure that he alone sells the fight in his homeland, so Usyk should get less.
The side of the Ukrainian no longer agrees to this, so now a deadlock has come in the negotiations. At the same time, the parties have little time until April 29 – Wembley Stadium is booked for this date.
