Earlier this month, lead actress Letitia Wright (Shuri) sustained an injury while filming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And now this injury turns out to be a lot more serious.
The actress suffered a fractured shoulder and a concussion. DEADLINE reports in a new report that production on the sequel is currently suspended until further notice until January next year.
The fact that Wright refuses to be vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine also causes a shift in admission and release dates.
No reason to panic
The same fate suffered the blockbuster sequels of Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness as well as the fourth Thor: Love And Thunder.
Leader Kevin Feige spoke to VARIETY about this headache file: “The advantage is, because we have so many slots, we can just move slots around. And when it comes out, we do that. In the worst case scenario, there are five months between titles instead of the usual three”.
