Edyta Bartosiewicz is undoubtedly one of the most important, best known and appreciated Polish artists, particularly strongly connected with the local rock scene. She made her debut in 1992 with the album Love, The turning point in her career was the publication two years later Sen, which produced songs that now enjoy hit status, including: Tattoo, Birthday, Capricorn or the title track. This year marks exactly thirty years since the premiere of this album, which Bartosiewicz celebrates with a series of performances focused on this particular material, but does not forget about famous compositions from other albums, meaning, among others, Jenny, Clock, Whether Shawl. It is on the occasion of this year’s anniversary that the artist will play a solo act, including at Great September.

Edyta Bartosiewicz was also invited to this year’s Top of the Top Sopot Festival. The artist graced the stage on the last day of the event, on Thursday, August 22. Unfortunately, her performance was fraught with difficulties from the very beginning. Bartosiewicz, who appeared before the audience with only a guitar in her hand, drew attention to the fact that her monitor was set too loud from the very beginning and asked for it to be turned down several times. The whole situation seemed a bit tense, but the artist, despite the difficulties, presented an intimate, beautiful performance, during which her greatest classics resounded. Edyta Bartosiewicz also addressed the audience, referring to her disappearance from the stage for several years.

This year’s Top of the Top Sopot Festival, which was broadcast by TVN, has been quite loud from the very beginning.
